Progress through Innovation Society (PI) and GENESIS Pre-School have signed an agreement to collaborate on the development and implementation of “Pedagogy for Kindergarten Course 1,” a practical online teacher development course for kindergarten and pre-primary teachers.
The course is designed to support kindergarten teachers with practical approaches to understanding child development and how children learn, helping children adjust to school, building positive partnerships with families, using child-friendly teaching and communication, managing classrooms positively, creating safe learning environments, and observing and supporting each child’s individual learning needs. Under the agreement, GENESIS Pre-School will support PI in capturing selected classroom activities and footage that can help present real learning environments in the course.
After the course is developed, GENESIS Pre-School will also support the participation of selected teachers from the school so that they can complete the course and its assessments. PI will provide the required course access and support, and the contribution of GENESIS Pre-School will be appropriately recognized in connection with the course.
The agreement was signed by ATM Kamrujjaman, Executive Director of Progress through Innovation Society, and Dr. Molla Azfarul Haque, Chairman of GENESIS Pre-School. Hamim Hossain Alvi, Assistant Project Coordinator of PI, and Wahida Akter, Principal of GENESIS Pre-School, signed as witnesses on behalf of their respective organizations.
Through this collaboration, PI and GENESIS Pre-School aim to help make the course more closely connected to real classroom practice and more useful for teachers working with young children.
