Book reading competition

On February 21, 2024, Progress through Innovation launched its Book Reading Competition initiative, aimed at expanding educational opportunities for students. This program was designed to offer students a platform for enhancing their knowledge. Introduced as a pilot project in four schools in 2024, it has achieved remarkable success

On February 21, 2024, Progress through Innovation (PI) held a special event to honor the revered Language Fighter and Ekushey Medal winner, Dr. Jasim Uddin Ahmed.

About 500 students from four different schools (two primary and two secondary) joined in this memorable event. The gathering was a tribute to Dr. Ahmed's impactful work, 'Amar Dekha Ekushe February.

At this event, students from secondary schools took part in quizzes and shared their thoughts about the book. The winners received more books by Dr. Ahmed as prizes. Meanwhile, students from primary schools showed their skills in art, music, and poetry, all inspired by the theme of February 1st. They were also given Dr. Ahmed's books as awards for their excellent work.

PI made sure all students had free access to the books and resources they needed. This allowed everyone to actively participate and learn about the Bangla language and its history from Dr. Ahmed's work.The event was well-planned, making sure students not only learned but also enjoyed celebrating their language and culture.
